9000+ ft on the drawbar and 10600 combined horsepower is 255 this sunny evening passing mile 52 on their way to Wolverton where they will meet 140 on the east end and eventually work the west end until darkness. The crew seems joyful giving a “bring it on” expression as the engineer lays on the throttle as well as the well tuned P3 horn trying to regain track speed along the Galt Sub after the climb from Desjardins clocking a clean ~55mph. RTC was pretty surprised as they made Desjardins to Campbellville in a stunning 28 minutes with a very long string of racks lifted off the CASO in Welland on the tail end, wasn’t an issue for the pair of 60’s and the 30ECO so I give respects to the crew for bringing this up the Ham Sub with no shove and no stall. I believe the ECO leads 255 now as at some point they utilized a wye.

  1. I’m not sure if you heard the conversation on the radio correctly. The RTC was asking why it took them so long to get to Campbellville since it took them almost an hour from Desjardins. The RTC was asking if all units were online, if there was high wind etc.

  2. @rsmith, once they were up the hill they did specify they made the hill okay and I did recall hearing 28 minutes from Desjardins to somewhere, if it wasn’t Campbellville correction noted

  3. It was probably Desjardins to Waterdown North in 28 minutes, which is fairly slow. Once they got on the Galt Sub. they were flying!
