    Such a nice looking diesel locomotive, complete with classification lights. Agree, a very nice photograph. Is that fresh ballast ? Thanks for posting, John

    The ballast would be fairly recent. The line is in far better shape than when CN had it. A lot of ballast has been added and most of the 80-85 pound rail has been replaced.
