Caption: Departing Agincourt Yard May 4, 1980, CP Rail train #942 enters the high rail at Staines, Ontario with a seventies superpower trio 4729 (M636) / 4565 (M630) / 4737 (M636). The big M units had a propensity to leak – anything – witness the fresh oil stains on 4729's front fuel tank, 4565 is in fresh paint and shows evidence (blistered paint) of possible exhaust leak and/or turbo overheating below the exhaust stack (see also trailing image provided) and no doubt the head end crew is happy they are not occupying leak prone 4737 (see trailing image) where the cab is covered in oil thrown off the sixteen cylinder ALCO designed engine.
