Caption: Cab Units: CN – ONR equally shared motive power assignment on the jointly operated trains #98 and 99, the overnight Northland. So every other day the CN Spadina Motive Power Shop hosted ONR units as they awaited the return trip on #99 the overnight Toronto to Cochrane – Kapuskasing daily train with through coach and sleeping car for ONR serviced Noranda / Rouyn P.Q. and through coach and sleeping car to ONR serviced downtown Timmins. The steam generator unit behind the second ONR F is coupled to a high speed geared CN GP40 (4016 or 4017) that Via leased for some time.
