In March 1983, a line of stored S-series units are pictured at the CN roundhouse in London, Ontario. The units included; S-7’s 8223, 8208, 8232, 8221, 8210, 8219, 8218 & 8229.

A CP westbound powered by Quebec, North Shore & Labrador Railway SD40 206 arrives in Galt in July 1984. This unit later became CP 5402 after being acquired by CP Rail.

NS C30-7 8008 and SD40-2 6117 have exited the Detroit River Tunnel in Windsor as they bring a train into Canada and by the old Michigan Central station in summer 1987. This station burned down in 1996 due to an arson fire.

CP crews work to clear the derailment of CP train 916 that happened between Galt station on the Galt Subdivision and the curves before the westbound Orrs Lake mile sign during winter 1986. The photo was taken with permission from the homeowner whose property backed onto the line.

The photo was taken with permission from the homeowner whose property backed onto the line. I don’t know much about the derailment itself, so any further information is appreciated.

An eastbound CP train is at Guelph Junction with 4732, 4511, 3115, 3114 and 1570 in May 1986. Both GP38-2’s 3115 and 3114 were on their first run from the GM Plant in London.
