A trio of SD40's, two still in their as delivered livery, rest from their pusher duties at Glacier. Eventually, they would be replaced by -2's and other than an occasional shove necessitated by maintenance, the days of manned pushers on CP are over.

The sea of action red paint was reaching the far corners of the CP system when this consist was captured at Cranbrook, BC. The bright red stands in contrast to the traditional colours of the C-Liner. 4062 would later be destroyed by fire while working in the east.

The times are a changing. The rebranding of CP is well underway. The action red and multimark are making their way across the system. Here SD40 5528 along with a sister and an M630 sit in from of the Kamloops icon Purity Feeds.

The Late Roy Jennings caught a then "everyday consist" at Revelstoke lead by C-Liner 4052.

CN FPA4's were uncommon on the west coast, but then again, they appeared from time to time. Here GMD meets MLW.... GMD says "what's you doin here?"
