Railroading is an all weather operation, and while the OPP might be a bit busier this afternoon responding to highway incidents, a little bit of snow doesn't even faze the crew of CN 393 as they clear the customs scanners and depart Sarnia for Port Huron, MI.

The power off CN 332 lays over at Sarnia, waiting to go out later in the evening on a 370. The 6 ex-Union Pacific locomotives are the first of what will become CN's new 2000 series.

Ouch! An interesting surprise on today's CN 331 was this wrecked switcher from the Dofasco mill in Hamilton, ON. This engine is on the way to NRE in Silvis, IL for repair and rebuild.

The CFL Centennial Train backs down the Point Edward spur on the way back to CN's Sarnia yard. While VIA trains regularly used the first part of the Point Edward Spur as a lead to cross over the main and access the wye, this is the first time in decades, if not even a century, that any passenger train has come this far. No passenger train will have ever been shot on this curve from this bridge before, and likely never will be again.

Passing through Breslau I got lucky enough to catch GEXR 431 as it set out several grain hoppers at the elevator. What's more, was the unexpected surprise of the ex-CP S3, which is bound for the Waterloo Central Railway.
