About cn2500sm
Shane Murphy 54 years old. Been a train buff since 1966. Have been active in photography since 1995. Originally from Georgetown, Ontario. Now live in Edson Alberta. Why do I shoot trains? Love photography and 1 day a neat train went by and I thought that would have made a nice shot. Well my camera has been with me ever since. My collection is about 40% prints, 50% slides, and 10 % digital. My Equipment. All my slides were shot with Olympus OM-1's with 28, 50, 100, 135, 200, 300mm fixed lenses. My prints were mostly shot using the same cameras. With a smattering of Pentax K1000 and Program Plus. All of my Digital is on a Olympus E-500 with a 14 to 45 and 70-300 mm lens. A few shots using my OM1 lenses abound. My posts are scans of prints included in my processing. Scans of slides will be from a Minolta AF2840 or Primefilm 1800U using Adobe Elements 8 or Photoshop CS4. I am in the market for a new scanner. All of my digitals are direct out of the camera. I really don't like to alter images. There may be minor corrections. But as far as heavy corrections like photoshopping out wires, poles etc. No way.
