After looking at the weather and noticing that some afternoon snow would be forecasted, I had planned to get CN 438 with 2510 leading in hopes to see it was some half-decent snow. But, after checking my phone mid day, I had found out that there was a CSX YN2 leading a 2-H89 by Denfeld. Well, in hopes of not getting screwed over by light, I decided to go out as far east as I could go, and made it here to WSS Tilbury. The longer I waited, the more the snow was piling up, making for an amazing snow show for the CSX to go through! I also managed to get 438 as well in even more snow too! But that will be another photo for later...

The 0700 Hamilton Job departs Stelco on a toasty Thursday as they make their way back to CN Stuart yard. 2926 has gotten into a collision with a truck at Wentworth the day after this shot, making the unit still unserviceable as of now.

After CPKC 239 with the dual BNSF H2's did a run down to Windsor the day prior, 231 swaps power in London a few hours after the duo had returned on 238 in the dark. Luckily this meant I could see the duo in some decent lighting in the Chatham-Kent area. Enjoy some classic signals on the Windsor sub

0530 has proven to be a primal time for waking up to watch these early morning EBs on the Windsor sub. Here was have 734 with a UP SD70M leader. Who knows how long it will be until these are in all storage.

Unbelievable could be one of many words said about this years Canada day. After spending almost a whole day trying to track 5743's moves in Windsor the day before and trying to figure the reason why they were being unpredictable, I decided at the end of the day that the chances of the famous SD40-2 leading an eastbound would be slim to none, especially in shootable lighting. Still, I decided to wake up at 5:30 am to turn on my scanner for some hope. Only 30 minutes after, and being half sleep, I heard the crew of 134/2-H89 call themselves CP 5743 East. Safe to say I was immediately was no longer half-asleep...
The chase began with me running out of my house at 6 am in the morning, and chased him to my first spot; here at the Tilbury curve. Something you could literally dream about in a railfans mind; waiting out in the country with the early morning birds chirping, hearing a horn in the distance, with a SD40 rounding the curve. The weather couldn't of been more perfect today, and I do not think I could ever have this experience with a SD40 ever again...

Well that day was something...A definite surprise on CP 234 as they make there way into Windsor Ontario. Sitting in English class, I got told that a 234 was around the border with a "Fakebonnet", was leading it. Knowing me, I couldn't focus the rest of my class as I had to give updates to many people and making up plans to see it. Making it out right after school, 234 sits across the border waiting on CP 131, and then waiting for almost a whole hour. In this photo, 234 backs into Windsor yard to tie down. The engine would get picked up by a CP 131 the next day.

After spending almost 7 hours from London to Windsor due to hot wheel problems and having to save a train due to lost fuel, CP 141 does a crew change in Walkerville with CP 8781 taking the lead. The crew was very friendly, giving me a chance to get this shot of the engine! Enjoy

CP 235 backs up into into the Jefferson siding at Walkerville JCT with 7010 in golden hour... After getting told that 235 went into emergency near Tilbury, I had doubts that I was going to be able to see this train during the daylight hours. I was very close to leaving after hearing the news but decided to stay and wait it out. I got lucky with the lighting as it was mostly cloudy for most of the day in Windsor but it decided to clear up as 235 was making its way here.

A Rare CP 141 blasts through one of the many open fields in Chatham Kent with a creamsicle trailing. In the background, you can see one of the oldest signals to remain of the CP Windsor Sub. The crew was friendly and gave us a small horn salute.

Here is a shot of very cool CP 235 today. When i heard that 235 had 7019 and the executive mac, I knew I had to go out for this train even if it was -10 degrees outside.. So me and my friend decided to first head out for it near Jeannettes Creek, but after waiting and having all my gear set up, i have heard some more information about 235 getting a hotwheel in Glencoe. Hearing this, we decided to head out more down the line as we weren't sure if the lighting was going to be as good (Shot near the Ringold Diamond). As the train approaching, my hands had gotten so cold so quickly that there was a couple of seconds where i couldn't take photos due to not being able to feel the button on my camera! Luckily, it didn't affect the photos and we were lucky enough to have the train come in some golden lighting. Enjoy!

A late 141 makes its way to the USA at golden hour after having to backup through VACIS due to an error with the machine. All trains entering from Canada to the US have to scan all the cars with an x-ray in order to proceed to the USA.

Today i was given the opportunity to explore CP 244 with a good leader. As the days get shorter, the EBs here now get backlit more quickly, forcing me to only get him in two locations in light after 11 am.. Luckily the shots turned out great and had a fun time catching the train...

Now its my turn... Here is CP 8757 leading CP 235 out of Walkerville JCT elly style today after doing work for an whopping 3 hours. Luckily i was able to make it out on time for this train due to school and it was worth the long (and fast) ride on my bike. 235 was only 9 cars today and was going into Windsor yard, which is strange because both of the engines are facing forward and there is no wye in Windsor yard. The only guess i have is that they will have to find another unit to take the lead of CP 234 for tonight.... Surprisingly the paint is still looking good as it made a trip across Canada, twice...

Cp 650 rolls through Belle River with CP 7013 leading on point, a rare occurrence nowadays as not only are the heritage units being used out west but are also trailing on most trains here as well...

A Super late Cn 439 on the CASO with a Canada flag on the cab, a nice treat for Canada day. 439 waited in Walkerville for almost 3 hours right behind another train to wait for it to leave, making it come in some sweet light.
