I was born and raised in Windsor. I'm a music and education student at the University of Windsor and I hope to be a future educator. I shoot with a Canon Rebel T3 with 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses.

An extra Sunday crew heads for home from Ojibway Yard on a snowy January day. Remember when we had those? The loaded centrebeam is for Border Reload, while the rest of the train will be interchanged to CN on the way back to their Lincoln Road shops. 105 and 104 both are wearing heritage paint schemes of previous Essex Terminal liveries. 105 is particularly cool in that it was delivered brand new to ETR in 1956 wearing this paint scheme.

CP's business train "40B" departs Agincourt Yard after a short stop for a recrew and some fuel. An observant friend of mine pointed out that the consist only featured units in the "block" scheme as opposed to mixing in "script" units. Perhaps on purpose, or just a neat coincidence? Either way the ACU looked sharp as did the rest of the train.

A GO test train pauses briefly at the historic St Mary's train station as they simulate a station stop. GO is currently looking into adding service between Kitchener and London and were conducting test runs over the weekend. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out over the next few months.

CN L568 crosses over Rotary Park and Trout Creek, a small tributary of the Thames River in St. Mary's. This would have been a perfect reflection, but some nearby ducks decided they wanted to go for a swim as the train approached. What can you do haha. Unfortunately, CN 1408 and other GMD1s are now retired and off CN's roster. Their fates are unknown at the moment.

The OSR Woodstock job heads east through the town of Beachville, ON. A bit of a throwback scene to when CP ran GP9s on this line before leasing it to OSR.

This train came into Windsor the previous night as CP 340, but for the hand-off to ETR the CP yard crew used the ID T-42. Whenever CP brings a grain train for ETR they cut the rear DPU(s) off at Dougall, pull up through the crossover between CP and ETR, and once clear of the crossover an ETR crew backs on while the CP crew detaches from the head end. ETR then brings the train to ADM in Ojibway. It's a really cool operation to watch and listen to on the scanner. This usually occurs a handful of times every year.

CN L583 passes the nature reserve and trail at Glen Cairn Park in London on their way to London East Yard. The frames came from Formet in St Thomas, and are destined for assembly plants in the US.

CN L583 passes through the Westminster Pond network in the Pond Mills neighbourhood of London. They'll work a couple industries in St Thomas, drop some interchange traffic for OSR, and return later in the afternoon back to London.

CN A439 races through the farmland of Komoka on the outskirts of London. With CN rapidly retiring their aging fleet of Dash 8s, these "Blue Devil" units are not long for this world, at least under CN ownership.

CN A402 passes through the town of Hagersville where at one time, the CASO Sub crossed the Hagersville Sub. The foundation for the tower that once stood here, can be seen in the bottom right corner of the frame.

CN A401 passes the VIA shack in Wyoming on their way towards Sarnia. 5261 is one of two SD40-2Ws CN used for LNG testing several years ago.
