![CP 2246 is seen stopped in Midhurst (Mile 67) with the 2014 CP Holiday Train. The turn out that year was incredible. They had anticipated a crowd, but was caught off guard (as was I) by the mass of people that awaited them as they arrived. The crew seemed slightly concerned and where kept very busy as people swarmed the train at all angles soon after arrival. After a short, and very successful stop, the train continued its journey north making several stops before reaching its final destination of that day in Sudbury.](http://www.railpictures.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Picture-300-200x150.jpg)

![CP 8650 is seen blasting trough Essa (Mile 59) with UP 3736 and CP 9633 trailing. On this day, CP 420 will arrive at Spence, set off 49 cars, and continue south with a very short, and maybe just slightly over powered 10 car consist. Its been a real treat seeing foreign power on the CP lately, bringing some nice contrast to an otherwise very red landscape.](http://www.railpictures.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Picture-051-200x150.jpg)

![Looks good from afar, but CCGX 1755 is far from good upon closer inspection on this cool, clear December day. Sitting in a state of disrepair at BCRY's Utopia yard, 1755 along with CCGX 1808 has been assigned status of "Parts Donor" for CCGX 1001, the BCRY's only locomotive. Time, weather and the BCRY itself have not been kind to 1755 and 1808. They have both been heavily scavenged for parts, and sport broken windows, peeling paint and lots of rust. The pairs fate remains unknown, but they continue to sit as of September 2015.](http://www.railpictures.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Picture-039-200x150.jpg)
