Yep, an Ex rail line indeed – and CN sold a good chunk of the ROW to developers near the waterfront north-east of this location, makes for a good swimming pool…

Thanks for posting this. By the time I moved to Barrie the station was boarded up and the F units were gone. the station sits empty, but has been nicely restored and GO trains now board to the west of the station site, but it’s not the same.
