Looking at Peter Lokun's 1972 photo of Brampton CPR station (id=53254) brought back a lot of memories for me. Today I took a photo of roughly the same location. As you can almost see the old freight ramp to left in the trees. The passing siding is all but gone leaving the "mainline" in weeds. The only clue there was a station here is the old red CP Rail sign on the telegraph pole "No unauthorized parking). What a sad sight.

  1. Interesting.
I wonder if this shot is good enough in comparison to be included in the Time Machine?

  2. I would like to slip into a time machine and go back to the good old days when trains ran through here back in the 60′s-my earliest memory.

  3. ‘progress’
