Nothing like a good oddball move to make things interesting. I was driving down to Niagara and was not far from Port Rob when I heard 875 call for a light from Port Rob to the north side of Duff. I figured they'd be light power, single unit, and long hood forward, so intercepted them at Robbins West (here) and followed along at a fairly slow track speed as they journeyed to Fort Erie. In the distance you can see their clear signal at CN Robbins. For those who may not be aware, CN has another big order of grain hoppers from NSC currently in production and has been storing them temporarily in Fort Erie, and then running them west on unit trains about once a week.

  1. That bad boy sure shoots a nice clean image. Looking forward to seeing more. :-)

  2. Restricted to 30mph when running long hood foward when a single unit. Great pic!
