Caption: Former VIA Rail FP7A 6553 and Wisconsin Central SD45 6541 share shop space at WC's Sault Ste. Marie diesel facility as both units were in different stages of life. WC 6541 was originally built in 1971 as Burlington Northern, before becoming WC 6541, then re-numbered 7526, before ending its run as NREX 7526. FP7A 6553, which was built for Canadian Pacific in 1953 went on to become Algoma Central FP9A 1756. It was later retired and sold to the West Coast Railway Association in Squamish, British Columbia.
