Caption: Due to our COVID circumstances VIA is not operating between Toronto and Vancouver - except deadhead runs of equipment for maintenance. Here's one of those movements operating as VIA 11, having just departed Mimico enroute for Vancouver - what a train! Five units and 27 cars. I'm surprised I was able to fit it all in.
Thanks to Bill Miller, the consist of the train is noted as follows: 6442, 6457, 6441, 6449, 6455, 8600, 8122, 8103, 8702, 8704, 8606, 8509, 8504, 8120, 8301, 8503, 8130, 8129, 8327, 8330, 8336, 8409, 8133, 8402, 8317, 8207, 8411, 8217, 8210, 8401, 8105, 8716 and also to David Vincent for the heads up.

What a fantastic photo!!! Nice touch that VIA put a baggage car up front!
Great picture Stephen, even got GO train included. Good timing. Unusual movement for sure, and must have run around or through Union Station and north on the Bala Sub up the Don Valley.
I guess we will not see the likes of this again!!
Thank you, I was pleased to be able to share in it with a few friends then share it with everyone here. Glad everyone enjoys it.
First time I’ve ever seen five VIA Rail F40′s together on a train. Really awesome catch Steve.
Happened again March 2021. And I got it video too
