Caption: In September 1997, CP had officially unveiled its new beaver shield heritage logo on GP38-2 3069. To commemorate the new scheme, the railway sent 3069 on a six-week transcontinental and trans-border tour to show-off the colors along with two display coaches as well as a private car, dubbed the "Logo Train." The train was ordered from Toronto during the early morning of Saturday September 27 and made a very quick trip across the Galt and Windsor Subdivisions to Windsor, where it would be put on display that day. The following day the train was displayed at CP's Quebec Street yard in London along with freshly washed STL&H SD40-2 5654.
Here 3069 with the "Logo Train" is pictured hustling westbound at the east siding switch at Wolverton, just west of Ayr, back when Wolverton was just a siding in between farm fields.

I did not know this happened… underwhelming compared to what they did last few years eh. But better than nothing!
