So, research indicates this is the Third car in the CALTRANS / IDOT order for Siemens passenger cars to be used on Amtrak. See page 7 of the below:

http://www.highspeed-rail.org/Documents/Caltrans_IDOT%20New%20Single-Level%20Passenger%20Railcars%20%e2%80%9cCALIDOT%e2%80%9d.pdf

Furthermore, VIA Rail placed an order for Siemems cars and locomotives. I would believe this means what VIA receives would be quite similar to what’s seen here.. would this not?
