Railpictures.ca - Unknown, Dan Dell'Unto collection Photo: Contrasting with the gloomy weather, freshly painted “subway red” TTC A-6 class PCC 4370 heads northbound in Mount Pleasant Avenue traffic on the St. Clair streetcar route bound for Eglinton Loop (incorrectly signed for Keele Loop), passing ex-Kansas City A-14 class PCC 4775 heading southbound at Millwood Ave (north of Davisville) in mid 1972. I made many trips to George’s Trains in the 1980′s, though by that time the streetcars were gone, replaced by trolley buses… which always seemed odd to me.
