Caption: Toronto Transit Commission CLRV 4019, less than a year old and still looking factory fresh, pauses at the end of its westbound 512 St. Clair run at Keele Loop on the morning of May 4th 1980, ready to head back east. CN's West Toronto Yards can be seen off to the right, and the old car dealership behind was originally a CN Express and Telegram building (later becoming High Park Ford, then Church Motors Ford, and most recently Grenadier Ford).
Located just north of St. Clair Ave. W. on the east side of Weston Road, the new UTDC-built CLRV streetcars only served TTC's Keele Loop briefly. St. Clair streetcar service would be extended west to the newly constructed Maybank Loop (later renammed Gunn's Loop) to the west off St. Clair at Maybank Ave. at the end of July 1981, and Keele Loop would be closed. Presently a neighbourhood full of townhouses occupies this site.
