Thanks for posting Stephen. We will not forget all those who served and especially those who paid the ultimate price so that we enjoy the freedoms and privilege of living in our most awesome country.

Agreed on all points. This photo just seems like the right thing to do, we should honour our veterans the best way we can and the Waterloo Central did it right when they ran a troop train for veterans and their families in 2015, making it possible to compose with a train. So I plan to do this for two more years until I run out of photos I think are worth sharing.
While we don’t often think of trains and war, they were very critical to the war effort, and most wartime photos of trains are stuck in vaults or collections, some day we might have a few here.. some day. And I’ll highlight those in the future if it does come to pass!
