  1. Thank you Steve! Looking for any images of CN intermodal operations 1987-89, and 1986 is close enough for me.

    I was watching, but not shooting in the latter part of the 80′s (in Toronto), so I saw a lot of the equipment used back then, but no photos. It’s my ‘golden age’, and the series of shots you’ve been posting are true gold. A trio of straight SD40′s in the zebra… miss those days. More please!

  2. I am glad that you are enjoying my photos. There is still plenty to come. As you might have noticed, my pictures have been submitted chronologically. You may be in luck. My time in Calgary is about to end. I moved to Edmonton in Sept of 86. I switch to CN shooting, but I was at the U of A for a while which cut into my railfanning significantly.
    Keep an eye out, I still might have something directly related to what you need.
