Caption: Back on Canadian soil. Rapido Trains recently acquired the ex-VIA, ex-CN “E” series sleeping car, Edmundston. It was built in 1954 for CN as #1115, one of 52 cars in the E series. These cars were named after cities and towns in Canada with names beginning with E, and they each had four sections, eight duplex roomettes, and four double bedrooms. It is seen here, in Canada, for the first time in many years.
