36 years after Arnold Mooney's photo I found myself on my way back from White River. While the station, poles and antenna are in the same places, and we were riding on similar equipment, it seems only the train number, the Monk Street bridge and the station's roof have remained identical.

  1. Looks as if the old wooden freight building in the background (below the overpass) has been demolished. Nice photo!! You’d not catch me hanging around that place in the middle of winter. :o )
