What's interesting: where are those units today: the first four are GP40-2L(W), 9417 built 1974 leased to CSX mid-1998 retired 29 June 2001 and sold to Alstom then sold to WATCO in 2004 as WAMX (Webb Asset Management) 4004; 9536 built 1975 retired 7 Aug 1996 sold to Helm Leasing 1996 as Kansas City Southern 4714; 9618 built 1975 in CN service; 9481 built 1974 leased to CSX mid-1998 retired 29 June 2001 and sold to Alstom then sold to WATCO in 2004 as WAMX (Webb Asset Management) 4012; 5517 GP38-2 built 1972 renumbered to 4717 in 1988 leased to Cando Contracting for Athabasca Northern startup, fall 2000 leased to Hudson Bay Railway, late 2000 leased to Cando Contracting for Athabasca Northern startup, spring 2001; 4453 GP9 built 1953 renumbered from GP9 2002 in 1956 damaged 19 October 1963 at mile 4.3 of the Oakville Subdivision, near Sunnyside, ON. Along with 4531 had a head on collision with 3725 and 4457; repaired and returned to service rebuilt to GP9RM 4025 in 1984 retired 1998. 4025 GP9RM sold to Cando Contracting 1999 renumbered CEMR 4001 used on Central Manitoba Railway (former CN Pine Falls Subdivision, north east of Winnipeg MB); 4526 GP9 built 1956 rebuilt to GP9RM 4028 in 1984 in CN service,
Questions: Today, status of that VIA sign? And status of the station given the September 2012 demise of the Northlander?
