Caption: At a location which I refer to in my old notes as Bayview East, (now 'Snake') the power for CN #392 smokes it up en route to its transfer down to Burlington West where it parked in behind the station in the former industrial yard awaiting further assignment. The photo is shot from Plains Rd West bridge at a location close to where old Hwy 6 and Hwy 2 used to come togther under the junction name of Wolfe Island, which can be seen engraved in the new replacement concrete structure at the entrance to the railfans' Walk Bridge. Poweer swirling under clouds of white exhaust are: CN 9172, 9195, 9175, 2513, 5190 and 9518. My assumption is the last four units ran light into Hamilton to pick up the A-B-A and the consist of #392 is tucked away at Aldershot yard. Or was this a Fort Erie to Toronto train? Anyone??
