The power off the Eastbound "Canadian"#2 gets a cleaning and a scrubbing during layover in downtown Calgary on September 28, 1978. There is just over a month of independence left, at the end of October this CP train would be incorportated into the newly formed VIA system.  Power is 1404 and 1416.
