CN 434 (Windsor to Toronto manifest) is passing Comber Station with about 50 cars in tow. Comber Station is arguably one of, if not the oldest Wooden Railway stations in Canada still in railway service built in 1871. At the time this caption was written, the last train on the CASO is on the line and this section of track will shortly be a part of history.

    Great picture, was woundering thought, why was he running on the north track? i thought they used the south track.

    Bejamin, there is no double main track on the CASO in 2005. Sure what you see is the south main track, but there’s a bumper, and it’s use is solely as a siding for servicing the elevator at Comber.

    Hence, just the main and a few sidings which rarely saw any meets after NS 344/343 stopped running in 2004..

    Oh yeah I knew that i just thought the siding track was the south track, got a little confused, thanks for the belp:)
