These 5 cars began life as Budd RDCs. They were de-powered and converted to commuter coaches years ago. Morerecently they were modified by John and Rita Carroll to run excursions on their Guelph Junction Express, Since that operation ceased they had been looking for a new home and eventually found it here at Uxbridge, where they will be put into service on the York-Durham Heritage Railway. While we lament the passing of the Guelph Junction Express, we can take consolation that they found a good home here.

  1. How would they have been transferred to them?
    Intarchange with CN or truck?

  2. I wasn’t in the area at the time but I’m sure one or more of the local guys or someone from the YDHR (you listening Matt Erwood?)can chime in on this. My guess would be interchange.
