An eastbound CP train is viewed approaching the West Toronto diamonds on the North Toronto Subdivision with quite a colorful consist heading to CP’s Toronto Yard. The consist included; SD40-2 5916, HATX GP40-2 501, HATX GP40-2 503, HATX GP38AC 175 and GP9u 8246. HATX 501 and HATX 503 would later go on to be acquired by CP through trades during 1999 and would become CP 4650 and 4651.

  2. Thanks for the comment, Mike. Yup, at that time you could guarantee almost every consist on CP was going to be unique and colorful.
