An entry to the time machine challenge alongside John Freyseng's 1963 image. With clearance through a foreman's limits just to the east at mile 289, VIA 62 and 52, running joint to Brockville, fly through Bowmanville, passing the former site of CN's station. Constructed by the GTR circa 1856, Bowmanville's station was damaged in a January 1968 derailment, but repaired for another another decade of service into 1979. Demolition would follow in 1981. A small yard sat to the north of the station here, plus the Bowmanville Town Spur, running north to the Goodyear plant.

  1. Jacob, a great comparison picture, and most interesting to see two Venture train sets operating as a J-train. Very colourful, well done !
