Pumping air on a pair of rusty rails, in the middle of the bush northeast of Thunder Bay. The last freight rolled off this line on May 16, 2005. This day in March of '08 found CN GP9RM 7218- S-3 slug 268- C44-9W 2666- the power having arrived in Thunder Bay earlier in the morning off train A436, now working a morning extra charge air through 113 stored aluminum CNWX hoppers along this abandoned rail line- stored since 2006. The cars being pulled off the line, destined for the scrapper in Thunder Bay. The line would be ripped up in sections starting in October 2008 with a rail train to haul the rail to various destinations on CN's network.
