TTC PCC 4472 (A7-class, CC&F 1949) heads westbound on Queen Street East at the East Don Roadway (just east of the Don River bridge), MU'ed with another 4400-series in Queen service. They are both passing the old Coleman Lamp and Stove Company building (still there today, at 580 Queen St. E), and another building marked "Acme Surplus Sales".After streetcar service on Bloor and Danforth ended with the opening of the new subway, the 4400- and 4600-series streetcars retained their MU couplers and were redeployed on other busy streetcar routes, such as Queen.Original photographer unknown (possibly John H.
