Crisp and cold morning
While VIA 001 The Canadian is getting a full service and head end crew change at Jasper, AB I had plenty of time to walk around town for some pics.
Standing at the west end entrance to CN's yard and Operation Centre at Hazel Avenue I snapped VIA 001 and a CN westbound grain train waiting to depart.
It was a frosty cold and windy morning but well worth the walkabout.
There was plenty of construction activity visible as the town is well underway to rebuilding.
