Caption: On a beautifully sunny afternoon, CPKC 137 pulls ahead to begin its switching duties after just arriving at Wolverton. I wanted to get the train east of Wolverton but wasn't able to make it in time, so had to make do with this spot. The wintery landscape helped a bit. And the lighting was phenomenal. I'm still liking the KCS power, especially the 5000-series GEs, as they still have pristine paint, unlike many of the 4600-4800 ones. The trailing unit was KCS 4199. The KCS SD70ACes rarely lead west out of Toronto unfortunately, as with the grey units for some reason. However, they have led east on numerous occasions.
