Did this yard have a name? From what I can tell it’s not a yard, just two tracks, and in the past had one more track in the 70′s.
I don’t recall it having a name Steve!There was a couple more tracks to hold auto cars with parts for the now demolished GM ontario street stamping plant
At least in more recent times, I believe its been commonly known as “Eastchester Yard”, although not sure if that’s an official name
I don’t think it’s correct. It’s not even a yard. It’s just a siding and a ‘mainline’.
The official GIO/Trillium Railway documentation also call it the N&ST SPur not the Grantham Spur – I have copies. This as of 2022.
