CP had running rights as well. I don’t think they went to depot harbour, but might have interchanged in the area…
Thanks. I had never seen CP along there. Usually a CN switcher was kept there for working the oil storage.
I do recall seeing CN there…..and at the Esso Storage south of town.
If you look on the west end of the CPR Parry sound sub north of the station, you can see where the CP came down, now a fitness trail…

CNR engines have right on this track from 2359 until 0600 and from 1200 until 1800,
CPR engines have right on this track from 0600 to 1200 and from 1800 to 2359.
CPR engines have no right at any time on CNR exclusive section.

A 1947 built ALCO S-2 equipped for road service: Full pilot, standard road air horn and…..unusual placement of that MultiMark, normally on the cab and road number on the hood, here is reversed.
The S-2′s were geared for 65 mph…no way I would want to ride anywhere near that!
7064 was a regular ‘PUSH’ unit on the North Toronto / Belleville Sub’s through Leaside.

I believe this was the standard paint scheme for end cab switchers beginning around the mid-1970s. All rebuilt SW1200RS units in the 1200 series had this paint scheme as well as several units from 65/66/67/70/71/8000s series.
