TTC PCC 4463 (A7-class, CC&F 1949) sports fresh "subway red" paint as it pauses for the light eastbound on King Street West at York Street in downtown Toronto. 

In the background is the busy University Avenue (with a westbound PCC waiting on the light. On the right is the Lord Simcoe Hotel, under demolition by Teperman. The Lord Simcoe opened in 1956 at King & University, but according to sources, it was closed in 1979 due to a lack of convention space and central air conditioning make the hotel uncompetitive. Demolition took place in 1980-81.
