This is an interesting capture Mike. I wonder how this single unit ended up on this train? Turning power at the NS yard was an involved process that could literally take hours. That was part of the impetus for the cab cars. Usually if a single unit was on the train it was the inbound power and it was facing the opposite of the way it came in. I don’t know if this unit had a pilot & ditchlights on the rear, so it makes me wonder if it may have been swapped out for something else when the train got over to Windsor.
Not sure Ronald, I never saw a singe unit on this train previously!
