Sitting in the "Pocket" at east control, 2007 and 2100 will shortly pull out and tie onto their train for a brake test and departure. The yard job is just shoving back to fill another track at East Control as the constant parade of assembly and departure goes along 24/7. I'm standing between E1 and E2...the longest departure tracks in East Control at the time. I guess technically they still are as C49-53 now extend into the reduced L yard as giant double over and storage tracks.
