While up in the northern Manitoba town of The Pas, looking for Keewatin's new power, we of course checked out the yard in town. And there sat a long string of 'new' HBRY SD60M locos, seemingly being stored. (The CTG lists a dozen of them- 6000-6011) They apparently were being overlooked in favour of HLCX 'geeps' which while we were there powered the morning train north to Thompson. It certainly would have been nice to see these attractively painted units in action.
