A merging of the eras — Train 421 has finished working Sudbury yard and is now grinding up-grade to the end of the double track at Flanagan. Today's units are very fusion-y, featuring both a CP and (faded) KCS GE product, followed by a couple of multimark SD40-2s with a ballast set. The train is hitting late-evening sun while a thick bed of smoke fills the Sudbury basin in the background; I remember it being difficult to get the colour/light balance right here.
