After a rather frustrating day finding not much of anything in this part of lower Saskatchewan, we were quite pleased, while heading north, to meet this southbound on the Stewart Southern Railway. A pair of leased units with 7 tank cars in tow. I have to admit the spiffy clean paint job on both was a bonus as well. FURX 5529 and CRLX 2021, a pair of GP38-2 units is the power. This was actually the first time I had ever seen a locomotive with CRLX (Canadian Railserve) reporting marks....at least one in this paint. Nice!!
