This was the first time I had photographed 4138 on the line heading north since my cab ride three years prior. The mid-90’s was a simpler time in Uptown Waterloo, back during an era when CN trains to Elmira operated almost un-noticed in daylight. Except for those few devoted local fans that would regularly photograph them.

    Neat capture Jason! Interestingly, CN 4138 and partner on CN 580 just serviced Raiview Transload, Hagersville at 11:28 this morning … still going strong albeit her AR inscription on the nose is not so sharp these days.
