Caption: It's a beauty! Waterloo Central Railway took pocession of pristine N0. 8140 earlier this week. The weather at St Jacobs turned wintery which, of course, bodes well for the Christmas Jolly Journey Train, Santa and the many families excitingly waiting for their turn for a ride. We were allowed a tour, during the morning, of the Restoration and Maintenance Facility which included an opportunity to explore and to photograph the colourful, impressive WCR 8140. This classy locomotive was masterfully restored by Lambton Diesel Specialists (LDS). During the afternoon, N0. 8140 braved the elements going on her inaugral / test run on the Waterloo Spur north of St Jacobs. WCR 8140, upon return, idles on the siding behind the shop, providing an unexpected viewing by those riding the 3:00 p.m. train. KUDOS to WCR & LDS.

Beautiful Glenn!
It looks great, but the have the number boards backwards.CP units, at least until the SOO units started filtering into the fleet, always had black background with white numbers.
