In following the Fraser River westward from Glen Valley, CN’s Yale subdivision squeezes by a bluff before reaching Fort Langley, and right at the beginning of that constriction it crosses West Creek at mileage 100.8. On Sunday 1991-03-17, a westward mixed freight with CN 5323 + 5058 utilized the North Track at 1313 PST.

The silver-coloured water tower on the far bank of the Fraser River marks Whonnock on CP’s Cascade sub.
