Crew change at Wabowden
With VIA 693 The Hudson Bay running more than 6 hours late, it was necessary for the headend crew to be changed out at the unexpected remote location of Wabowden, MB.
Due to a radio failure in the original leading unit VIA 6433 it was necessary to swap the locomotive positions at The Pas, MB during the night time scheduled stop resulting in a lengthy delay which ultimately shortened the crews operating time.
Just another part of the adventure! :-)
