Extra CN 603 West is about to duck under the Liverpool Road overpass and take the switch onto the York Sub with a pair of new GO Transit GP40TCs on the point.  The eight GMD units were broken in hauling CN freight trains over the course of a few months. The units would have their paintjobs modified to official GO Transit colours>/a> by April 1967 for final equipment testing before the start of service on Tuesday, May 23, 1967.
