Caption: On Watson Island, just west of Port Edward and across the water from today’s multi-product export terminal on Ridley Island, Columbia Cellulose operated a pulp and kraft paper mill, largely supplied with logs hauled by CN from Terrace. For switching that mill complex, former CN 852 (with three previous numbers), a petit G8 with no external markings (but 1134 on paper), was kept busy, as seen Tuesday 1977-09-27.
