Caption: GIO's Tillsonburg job comes to a stop on the west side of Tillsonburg to lift a tank car from storage out of XE85 at right. With its thirteen car train together in a few minutes, the train will depart for St. Thomas. Much of the morning had been spent sorting a cut of around fifty storage cars, departing shortly after noon.
Just ahead of the train, an old switch tie can be seen jutting out to the left with an out of service GRS switch circuit controller still in place. This is one of the few remnants of this location once carrying the name "Tillsonburg Junction," where the Cayuga and Burford Subs once joined, including a station. The Burford Sub would be abandoned from Burford to Tillsonburg North in 1989, leaving the trackage within town intact for a few more years before removal.
